We appreciate you graciously volunteering to teach Art Masters to our children! In order for the year to go smoothly, it is important to note the following guidelines:
- You MUST be scheduled on the calendar in order to conduct an Art Masters lesson. We may not have enough supplies for more than one class per grade to conduct their lesson at the same time. Remember, it is first come, first served; so schedule your lessons early.
- Please use only the bin for your grade level. If your bin is missing items, please call or e-mail your Art Masters Chair person and she can help you find the supplies and/or restock the bin with more materials.
- Due to children with allergies, Hairspray and Aerosol Paints, MUST be used OUTSIDE.
- Please do not interrupt other Art Masters lessons or the art teacher's lessons. It is extremely helpful if you will take the time, a few days before your teaching date, to familiarize yourself with the lesson and address any questions you may have with the Chairperson or another Art Masters volunteer.
- Many of the lessons ask the Docent/Instructor to bring supplies from home. You may want to check your bin for that month to see if supplies are provided.
- The supplies in the bins will be specifically for the assigned monthly project. You cannot skip a lesson or substitute another lesson as yo will not have the correct supplies available.
- Occasionally, you may find the supplies in the bins do not exactly match the supplies listed in the lesson.
- NEATNESS COUNTS! Art Masters is a PTA funded curriculum which means that all the materials cost you and I money. Please take the time to keep the supplies and bins clean and in good shape. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU PUT EVERYTHING BACK WHERE YOU FOUND IT and leave the bins, supplies and classrooms as you would want to find them for your use.
- Please take care with the reproductions and their folders. Some of the reproductions are no longer available and they are very important part of our program.
